How we reviewed this: we ran its test suite in Docker with Bun, offline — 88 tests across 17 files, all passing. We did not post anything to the hosted endpoint.

What it does

Safer with Jev, by André Landgraf, is a public showcase: a newspaper-style site plus an API that inspects a request body with Jev and can then forward the same bytes to an HTTPS URL you name. There’s no key of its own — the server holds a TypeSafe key and you don’t need one.

It is also deliberately agent-readable: the same page can be served as Markdown, and there are AGENTS.md and llms.txt endpoints describing what’s available, which is a neat touch for a demo aimed at people building agents.

What to know

The obvious one: anything you post goes to someone else’s deployment, is judged there, and may be forwarded to a URL you specify. That’s the demonstration, not a flaw — but it isn’t a place for real data.

There is no licence file.

Verdict

A tidy way to see the judge-then-forward pattern working without setting anything up, and the test suite is better than a showcase strictly needs.
